			Club Course Broken Sound's Club Course is a golfer’s delight.  The world-class Club Course features a tropical atmosphere.  This golfer’s paradise is noted for its overall superior condition.   The well-trained and knowledgeable Club Course staff is dedicated to accommodating each golfer.  Whether a member is practicing on the driving range or playing a round of golf, the staff’s priority is to make each experience on the Club Course a pleasant one.  Superb hospitality is reflected on and off the golf course.   Highlights of the Club Course include:   Variety of instructional resources, including lessons available with 7 professional golfers, video system and many clinics for all skill levels Full-service Pro Shop, featuring the latest golf fashions and equipment at competitive prices "Nine and Dine" program for couples to indulge in a 9-hole round of golf and a special dining experience Opportunities to play in a competitive tournament environment      Junior Program provides instructional golf activities for children ages 5-16 during holiday breaks The newly renovated Main Clubhouse scheduled to open in December 2004 will house locker rooms, an extensive Pro Shop, the Main Dining Room and the 19th Hole Grille for the convenience of Club Course members.	.
			Old Course An extraordinary golf experience awaits members of the Old Course. Tucked away in a wooded setting, this pristine golf course is just minutes away from the gated community of Broken Sound Club.  Unlike most in South Florida, this non-residential course reflects a northern atmosphere.  Recently renovated, the Old Course boasts distinctive bunkers and rolling terrain, which add to the beauty of this unique, well-manicured course.  Stone bridges and accents compliment the array of oak trees which provide a scenic backdrop for a 9-hole or 18-hole game.    Four golf professionals and the entire Old Course staff provide first-class hospitality to enhance each golfer’s experience.   Highlights of the Old Course include:   Limited membership creating an intimate Clubhouse environment Caddy Program Extensive short game and practice area, featuring a driving range, pitching and sand play  Lessons with golf professionals Member-guest tournaments Pro Shop providing the latest fashions and high caliber equipment  The renovated Clubhouse expected to open in February 2005 will house locker rooms, an elaborate Pro Shop and the Old Course Grille. The intimate dining experience at the Grille is a favorite of Old Course members.   Old Course members indulge in all of the Broken Sound Club amenities, including golf at the Club Course, Tennis, Spa and Fitness and the Main Clubhouse.
			Tennis Whether a veteran or novice, tennis fans alike revel in the uniqueness of the Tennis Center at Broken Sound Club.   The Center conveniently houses 23 Har-Tru courts, the Centre Court Café and a Pro Shop. Royal Palms and lush landscaping frame the pristine tennis courts, providing the perfect tropical backdrop for an enjoyable game. The Tennis Center showcases a state-of-the-art layout of courts, distinctly separated to provide a semi-private tennis experience.  Several lit courts are available for evening games.   While dining at the Centre Court Café, members indulge in an array of delicious cuisine and have an opportunity to enjoy stadium court viewing.  Adjacent to the Café is our Pro Shop, offering the latest racquets and tennis equipment and a variety of tennis and fitness fashions.   Our three tennis professionals have established an excellent rapport with members and focus their energy on making each experience at the Tennis Center a pleasant one.  Private and group instruction with the tennis professionals is offered for all skill levels.   Highlights of the Tennis Center include:   12 different inter-club teams:  seniors doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles Intra-Club singles league Annual Broken Sound Pro-Am Tournament Ladies Member-Guest Tournament Bus trip to NASDAQ 100 Tournament on Key Biscayne Professional exhibitions, featuring world renowned tennis champions, such as Mats Wilander, Karel Novacek and Aaron Krickstein Complimentary clinic offered once a month Children four years-old and older have an opportunity to participate in clinics geared toward various skill levels.  Private instruction is also available.
			Spa and Fitness Center We are proud to present our recently opened state of the art Spa and Fitness Center to enhance your Broken Sound experience. Just a few minutes from leaving your front door, you may take advantage of the numerous spa treatments and fitness activities available in this 16,500 square foot health, fitness and pampering haven right here at Broken Sound Club.   Weight and Cardio Center Our weight and cardio center featuring, a cardio theatre system with individual televisions at each piece of cardio equipment.  Innovative weight-training equipment is available to compliment your cardio workout.  Our professionally trained staff pride themselves on meeting your health and fitness needs.  We currently have 13 trainers to help customize an exercise plan that is right for you.   Classes Our two new aerobic studios house 45 classes throughout the week.  Among the popular favorites offered are  Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Stretch and Sculpt and Twenty-Twenty-Twenty.  Aquatic classes are currently available at the Boca Raton Athletic Club until the Main Clubhouse and Aquatic Center reopen.   Spa Going to a day spa does not have to require much travel time now that our full-service on-site spa is available for your convenience.  Our new, luxurious spa features facials, manicures, scrubs and an array of massages. It is a truly a welcome addition to Broken Sound Club.  Members take advantage of having this opportunity to indulge in these relaxing and rejuvenating treatment options.  Pevonia Botanical retail products featured in many spa treatments are available at the Spa.  Our elaborate locker rooms are equipped with digital lockers and feature a steam, sauna, whirlpool and private lounge area.   Aquatic Center Our scenic Aquatic Center, adjacent to the Main Clubhouse, will re-open in December.  The Center features a 25-meter lap pool, a recreational pool and a luxurious hot tub.  A kiddy pool and children’s play area provide endless fun.  A new pool bar and changing rooms are designed for the convenience of our members.  Aquatic exercise and instructional classes will resume at the Center upon re-opening.     Children’s Activities Complimentary children’s activities are available while parents/grandparents utilize Spa and Fitness facilities.
			Dining Exceptional hospitality is the mantra of the Food and Beverage Department.  Striving for excellence in every area remains a priority of the dedicated Food and Beverage staff.  This team regularly demonstrates their flexibility and dedication to meet the needs of Broken Sound Club members.   Our chef and his culinary staff provide members with an array of delectable delights on a daily basis.  Creating a warm and friendly rapport with members is a top priority of the entire staff.   The Food and Beverage department oversees all of the catering needs for on-site events at Broken Sound Club.  Whether a ladies luncheon, children’s party, a wedding or anniversary, the staff will help you create a memorable event.   Highlights of the Food and Beverage Department include:   5-star hospitality, cuisine and ambiance  Array of cuisine Eagerness to accommodate our members’ personal requests Creativity to make your dining experiences at Broken Sound most enjoyable Wine-tasting events, featuring international selections Extensive wine list, among the best available in Boca Raton Catering from small group meetings to lavish affairs Opportunity for exclusivity for large, private affairs   On-site facilities:   During renovation, the Centre Court Café, with combined indoor and outdoor seating for 200, has become a focal point of casual to fine dining.  From informal breakfasts to international cuisine, members indulge in a wide range of menu items, morning, noon and night.   Scheduled to re-open in December 2004, the renovated Main Clubhouse will reflect the first-class atmosphere of Broken Sound Club.  The Living Room will provide an intimate setting for a drink before your dining experience.  Adjacent to the Living Room is the spectacular Dining Room, seating 450 with a dance floor.  Along with the Dining Room and Living Room, the Second Floor banquet rooms, accommodating 10-200 people, are available for private functions based on availability.  Our new 19th Hole Grille will provide a informal atmosphere for members to enjoy breakfast and lunch.   The Old Course Grille, scheduled to re-open in February 2005, will allow Old Course members to dine in an intimate setting, only a few feet from the first and eighteenth holes of this world-class course.
			Social Activities To enhance your personal paradise experience at Broken Sound Club, our Social Department offers an array of activities to entertain, educate and enlighten you. It is our goal to bring people together to share common interests and develop meaningful relationships. A highlight of this year’s season was the innovative cultural premier: Tanglewood Comes to Broken Sound concert, featuring world renowned conductor/musical director Dean Karahalis   Highlights of our social activities include:   On-site shows, concerts and dining experiences indoors or under the stars that will leave lasting memories Classes:  including cards, language and art to help you brush up or learn a new skill Lectures on topics ranging from world news to health Day trips to historical sites, museums, shopping havens, popular South Florida events, including premiers Exciting cruise packages   Singles Programming Our large singles sector/population/membership has an opportunity to participate in all general programming in addition to special programs geared toward their interests.  Broken Sound Club regularly participates in the interclub singles activities in addition to providing quality programs for our single members.    New Member Gatherings Welcoming new members to our community is an important role of the Social Department.  It is our pleasure to help provide you with opportunities to enhance your social life and overall Broken Sound experience.  We organize special new member gatherings to help you become acquainted with other members and the plethora of activities we offer.   Children’s Programming Children and those young at heart can indulge in a variety of enjoyable recreational programs, including story time, arts and crafts, health and fitness holiday and vacation activities.  Our magic show and cake decorating classes will return by popular demand.
